This is a pied-à-terre, which can be occupied by the owner or their guests for up to 4 months per year. When not occupied by the owner or guests, the units are included in the hotel rental program. Ideal for someone who wants a base in New York. You can have an apartment at the Plaza with full hotel facilities when you are in New York, and then the unit is being looked after and maintained while you are away, and also earning you money. Unit rentals are allocated via a points system. Each unit is allocated a point when it is rented, and the units with the fewest points get the most priority until, over time, the system will broadly even out the occupancy amongst all similar units. When an owner occupies their own unit, this only counts as 100th of a point, meaning that owners can use their units for a large part of the year without impacting on the ultimate revenue. So whether you stayed there for 10 weeks in a year, or you didn rsquo;t stay there at all, you should still end up with the same revenue from the suite at the end of the year. Services: a butler on every floor, baby-sitting and concierges, a shopping mall, the Palm Court under the restored stained glass ceiling, the Champagne Bar with views of Grand Army Plaza, the Oak Room Restaurant and Bar, the Rose Club, the Grand Ball Room, The Plaza Food Hall by Todd English, meeting/conference rooms.
